Meet Cody

"Before I started Cai & Jo, I was working as a software developer at a small startup in Wales. For a few years I'd been selling things online just as a hobby and a side hustle, but I'd become unhappy in my job and decided to try to take it a bit more seriously. In 2019, I designed my first range of cards, officially incorporated Cai & Jo, and left my job to pursue it full-time!"

Where are your products made?

I design all of the products myself in our London studio, and then we weork with different suppliers around the world to make my product designs into reality!

Where did you get your inspiration behind naming the colours?

A lot of my inspiration comes from growing up in Cyprus and being surrounded by the hot weather, sun & unique colours of the island. I'm also always inspired by nature, even in London I'll see a tree that I love the shape of, or a pastel sunset that makes me feel creative.

What is your top selling product?

Things tend to change all the time, but people always love cards!

Which is your favourite product?

That's so difficult because I feel like my favourite is whatever I'm working on right now, but I'm still completely obsessed with our coasters.

What is your biggest achievement so far?

I think it would just be getting to the point where I've been able to move into my dream studio and hire a little team to help me. There's three of us now and it sometimes doesn't feel real that I've been able to grow this much in short time!

Do you have anything planned for this year that you can share with us?

I can't really share much yet, but we do have a lot of new exciting products coming out soon!
