"Our signature Wheat Bag is what sparked the idea."
Blästa Henriët founder Lo couldn’t find a trusted linen version of her childhood ‘Wheat Warmer’ from Sweden. She decided to put her printmaking and design background to good use and make her own, improved Wheat Bag.
Where are your products made?
Everything is made here in the UK, down to the labels and stitching. We are proud to work closely with a handful of suppliers that are all family run businesses, using traditional manufacturing methods.
Where are you based?
We are based in London, in Kew Gardens. It’s lush!
What is your top selling product?
The Wheat Bag is still our top selling product. Being so useful and timeless, it’s hard to beat.
What is your favourite product?
The Eye Pillow is a mini version of the Wheat Bag. I love that as it’s so handy to bring on short trips, have ready in the freezer for under eye bags - or place in the lining of your trousers when Aunt Flo pays a visit.
What is your biggest achievement so far?
To go from a creative idea to building a viable business is an achievement I’ll always be proud of.
Do you have anything planned for this year that you can share with us?
We are very excited to be working on some new products that we are hopefully ready to share next year!
